Looking for something that can create thumbnails that can be printed, say 12 to a page, from standard dxf files...
I use A9 cad, and only option there is single dxf/ single page print..

any recommendations??

Corel Paint Shop Pro XI will import DXF files and then can scale them to any size you wish. Once the files are imported, then go to "Page Setup" and place as many on one sheet of paper as you wish.

Its a Big investment but i use illustrator to create dxfs as well as resizing them.It is a ridiculously powerful tool and can be used for all of your graphic work as well eg. brochures, leaflets pdfs and the latest couple of versions have got the "live trace" plugin which can turn any image into a vector then into a dxf or dwg.
