    11/64 Hex Broach

    I'm looking for an 11/64 hex broach. Broaching 4140 steel 1/2 thru. I've found a few vendor's thru "Google" and am currently waiting for replies from them. Anybody know where to buy one?

    hex broach

    Are you looking for an exact 11/64 hex (.171")?

    If so, try Slater Tools, ask for part number 306-171 or 506-171.

    SS,
    1/2" is pretty deep for a 11/64" rotary broach. I'm curious if you remember if you used a push or rotary broach, and if so, how the it worked out for you. I've been talking to someone else who is trying to do something similar.
