    change inch welding measures to metric

    We have a problem and we need fast answer.
    If i have a inch dimension picture where is weldin symbol 1/2 at one side of the part what it mean when i convert it for metric system ?

    Edit: add dxf picture what i mean.

    Just convert the weld size to the metric equivalent by dividing by 25.4. The weld will remain a fillet weld. the 1/2" should become 12.7mm or 12mm depending on your precisioin.

    ACAD

    BTW you can do this in ACAD no problems in less than a couple of minutes.
