Solid Model files of off the shelf components

does anyone know of a good source for solid model files of common off the shelf trailer components? ie: some common axles, fenders, couplers, jacks, etc. the company I work for builds completely custom trailer running gear and trams but on occasion we need to build something more simple but instead of building our own version of these components we'll be buying them and the suppliers tell me they can't get any kind of CAD files at all for them. so before I spend hours drawing this stuff myself I thought I would check here to see if maybe someone has already done this or knows where someone has. since I'm not interested in modifying them at all the format can be most anything. I'm using Inventor 2009 and can import almost any format including Solidworks and Pro-E.

    Thank you

Hi there, first post on here

I have used www.3dcontentcentral.com for nuts and bolts ect. It has user uploaded models and some manufacturer uploaded stuff if I remember correctly..

BTW SKF Bearings have their CAD models on their site too..

P.S You will have to register on both sites to use them.

I'm not sure how much use they will be to you, but I hope they help..
