    5056 red light

    Is this wiring right?
    KL23H286-20-8B
    (bipolar parallel)

    A BLU/WHT RED/WHT

    A- BLU RED

    B GRN/WHT BLK/WHT

    B- GRN BLK

I wired the drives to the steppers. The red LED by the PWR/Alarm is on now and the steppers are hard to turn by hand.

Also, when configuring in Mach 3, The drive is labeled with:

    ENA

    PUL

    DIR

I figure that DIR and PUL are configured in the motor pins configuration for direction and step. (Are they active low or high?)
I am unsure about ENA though.

    Thanks for the help

I tried disconnecting the 5v power supply from the driver but the red LED remains illuminated.

I tested my power supply at 47.8V. I tried lowering that to 43 v and turned it on again, but the red LED remained on.

    Power supply KL-350-48 48V/7.3A.

Should I play around with the max Amp switches?

Also, I am unable to open the .doc file. Is there a place I can read it online?
