Tech installed spindle motor fan backwards (now #9)

Now we are getting a #9 spindle fault error (line low). At this point should we get the motor cleaned and hope the inverter is still good? The error is intermittent and today we are constantly getting that fault every other part. On top the motor the fan is actually blowing out and sucking coolant mist up through the motor (DOH!!!)

    you are making some mistake
there is no connection bitween the fan motor and spindle fault 9
the fan has to be installed that is sucking air from outside to the motor
    inside
problem 9 caused or by the spindle inverter
or you got problem with the power supply

Thanks but after talking with tech a dirty spindle motor can cause an inverter fault. In fact a dirty spindle motor can ruin an inverter/spindle drive on a Fadal since their isnt a safeguard against resistance from the motor.

You are correct on the fan but our fan was installed sucking air through the motor not from the top down like it should have been.

Welp $553.94 later we have a clean motor with new bearings. We are going to install it this weekend and see what happens (fingers crossed)
