issues with small bits (1/8,1/4) SCM Record 120

I cant seem to get the CNC to use anything smaller than 3/8ths. Larger works no problem, v carve bits work without issue as well. Whenever i try to run a program with a 1/4 inch or smaller bit I get a PLC125 error: tool error just before it changes the old tool out for the new one.

    anyone have any ideas?

You might be missing a setting in the tool table for those tools?

As far as I can tell Im not, I actually copied the tool file of another record 120 user in finland. I am at a loss as to my next step. I have more than enough for the machine to do using the 3/8 and 1/2 end mills, but it would be a huge timesaver for some projects if i could get the 1/4 and 1/8 end mills working
