    This is what Chicago Latrobe recommends:
    RPM = 3.82 X SFM / drill diameter
    SFM = 140 - 200
    FR = RPM x IPR
    IPR = .001 - .002

    RPM = Revolutions Per Minute
    SFM = Surface Feed Per Minute
    FR = Feed Rate
    IPR = Inch Per Revolution

    RPM = 3.82 X 140 / .094
    RPM = 5689

    FR = 5689 x .001
    FR = 5.689

    I would use a HSS Tin coated drill.
    You could also call Chicago Latrobe Technical Information 888-434-4311

    Milk as a lubricant apparently gives an excellent surface finish. One of those old trial and error things I read in a book somewhere.

    I read also about grinding the cutting edge square. It might be worth a search.
    No time to do it right, plenty of time to do it twice.

    I have it drilling good now 1600 rpm and 30.5 feed.
    I need to run 8,000 per month so will see how it goes.
