Hi!
I just wonder one thing.
If you have a small memory in the machine so you have to send the program from a computer at the same time the machine is running the program what is the English word for that?
Is it drip feed?

Yes, it is dripfeed. On some CNC machines, the mode will be dispalyed as RMT, DNC or TAPE.
Want dripfeed software, click here to see the details http://cadem.com/dnc/features-die.htm
I use the windows terminal software that came with Windows 3.1. It interfaces well with most older CNC equipment through the RS-232 port. You need to configure the Baud rate, stop bits, parity ect... then its a simple matter of sending a file in DNC mode.
It would help if we knew what machine you were trying to interface to
archie =) =) =)
Drip feed ability is an optional extra on some CNC controls.
If your machine has that option, you can use the software from http://www.connectcnc-dnc.com/index.html

I have a Mazak VQC-20/40B with Mazatrol M2.
I can transfer the program whit PcMaz for Mazatrol file and Cimco for iso file.
Do you need a cable with full handshake type when you drip feeding?
The cable I have is like this.
PC 9 pin, MC 25 pin
2 to 2
3 to 3
4+6 , 4+5
7+8 , 6+8+20
5 to 7
I don’t now if it’s right cable to drip feeding but I will try that then I’m back from my vacation.
