I have a fanuc A16B-1100-0330 3axis ac drive which accepts a standard pwm as a command. has anybody adapted Mach3 to an existing fanuc drive system? My Machines are a 610 and 760 3axis Leadwell mills.

I have read about pixie modules that convert step/dir to +/- 10v... but I am assuming your drives are pwm+dir? Maybe do a search.
Honestly - if you want to use the existing drives.. I would look at emc2. You can get hardware interface cards inexpensivly that will do pwm+dir or +/-10v. This will give you actuall position back to emc from your encoders. You will know exactly where you are at.

supported hardware here..

look at mesa or pico systems. Both have great support.

did you ever get help on this I want the same ?
I working on a project using Fanuc AC analog servo system (3 drives & 3 Red cap servo Motors ) 1988 vintage with Galil DMC 1800 series PCI axis controller in a PC w/ Mach3 software because my Fanuc OMa control has small memory on board....So based on what your saying here in this thread at this time no one has do so ?? Fanuc encoders are simple standard Quads as per Warren @ uptime I thought ? love to hear more on this topic I share all I figure out as I work on this problem/project
