    ALARM 101 on 6M

I have a 101(Memory) alarm on a 6M control. The book says power up holding reset and delete. Won't this wipe out all of the memory including parameters?

NO. Holding "Reset" and "Delete" at power on will clear program memory on Fanuc 6 control. "0" and "Delete" at power on clears all memory including parameters on Fanuc 6 control.
i.e Power on with "reset" & "delete" on Fanuc 6 control to clear alarm 101. Ofcourse you will loose all programs currently in the memory.

Thanks fanucservicetech, that fixed it. Don't you just love bubble memories?

    Re: ALARM 101 on 6M

We used this procedure to clear the memory 101 error on a Whitney 3500 ATC / 631. This also cleared the 9100 programs. How do we restore them?

    Thanks
