Just wondering if anyone has ever used Mach 3 with a touchscreen.

    Hi Khalid,
Yes, lots of touch-screen users out there. Which Mach3 version you use doesn't matter since Mach3 really doesn't know if you're using a touchscreen or not.

However, you may want to switch to another screen-set which is more "touch-screen friendly" (or design your own if you like) with a bit larger buttons etc. There are a few screens available in the download section on the Machsupport website.

I'm finishing up a "simple" screen with large buttons that should be very touch screen friendly. Should be done in a day or two. It's based on this one, but will have a single Z axis and sliders for the overrides.

I use one too. I scored a 17" elo flatpanel touchscreen on Ebay for about $75. It's nice, but you need to take your time calibrating the sensitivity to your particular parallax.

    Cheers! -Jim
