    There is hope

After about 11 months, I finally was able to run a v22 program with absolutely no G-code edits.

Simple rectangular clearance pocket in a fixture. (on which I was running several v21 programs).

    The differences:
    1. Ramping in pocket. Made for quick, single tool operation, finally.

    2. I was able to define my OWN speeds and feeds, finally.

    3. I was able to SIMPLY call my own tool, finally.

    4. Pocketing multiple depth option now includes a Defined Depth Step entry, instead of always dividing the steps evenly, so I was able to figure steps that left only .005 for the last pass, FINALLY.

I'm finding some issues as I explore the new update, but seems to be a step in the right direction.

yes I will agree with you that V22 NOW is worth buying. They should have waited untill now to release V22. But the fact ramains that bobcad did more harm to themself with releasing V22 to early. I for one will never upgrade bobcad again untill it has been out for 6 month and I can read a post from someone like you moldmaker that says it works. They really screw up. But I don't think bobcad is to worried about it. This has been the way they operate. I just don't understand this company

Well there is still more to fix on v22 but I will agree that they are concerned about making their people happy right now. As fast as software is changing in prices and as many programs being produced I am sure bobcad knows the importance of keeping their people happy. Fixing the few last problems in my mind would give bobcad some job security for future sales.
