    Post Tormach new spindle upgrade?

    Does anyone here have this yet? How do you like it? Is there enough difference worth making the change? Can it rigid tap? Any info would be great.

    Are you asking about the new VFD kit? That was discussed here and on the Yahoo Tormach group a few weeks back so you might want to scroll back a few weeks and do some browsing. The Yahoo group might have had a bit more involved discussion.

    I don't recall anything about rigid tapping as a benefit but might have missed it.

    I would not call it rigid tapping but soft tapping. I don't have the new VDF kit but I plan to buy it soon.
