Oh I see what you mean.
You mean the creature that goes through it's life cycle the fastest?
I'll guess the fruit fly. I used to run genetic experiments on them in college, 24hrs was all they got as I remember.
Either that or a modern pop star, they come and go pretty fast too.

LOL, yeah, thats pretty fast alright, you may be right, but what I read was the "Fastest On Record"
Not a life cycle Dave, this is referring to a creature moving from point a to point b.

Nope not a Flea, they come in at second place in jumping speed with a disappointing 4320 IPM and cover less then a foot, man, I like thought they could like jump across the room

Even I am faster than that, and a Cheetah is almost 10 times as fast.
Are you sure you're not talking about acceleration?
Because then any dragster is painfully sluggish in comparison.

Rick's right. It's a raptor.
I guess these birds would attack base jumpers as the peregrines get more aggression, hitting them so hard they almost crash into the cliff face.The peregrine is the fastest bird on record reaching horizontal cruising speeds of 65-90 kmh ( 40-55 mph) and not exceeding speeds of 105-110 kmh (65-68 mph). When stooping, the peregrine flies at much greater speeds however, varying from 160-440 kmh (99-273 mph)!

Almost forgot, this bird is a survivor. It came back from near extinction in (i think) 97 or 99.
