Has anyone ever attempted cutting gasket material on a vinyl cutter?
I would like to try scanning a gasket then be able to cut a new one.
I an not sure even which cutter may do it.

you can cut, or rather score the rubber gasket material, but the cork is not going to work.
You will go through the blades quickly though!
That is a laser application.
I've sucessfully cut a gasket for my lawnmower using a Cricut. It wasn't cork but that paper like material not cork. It probably would cut cork if you made several shallower cuts as long as material fits between blade and mat.
I took a picture with a ruler to insure I had 1:1 measurement. I used adobe products to create cut path with magic wand tool which made it a piece of cake to layout edges of port and flange.
First time it took a while (could have cut by hand faster) but now, let machine do the work. As cheap as Cricuts are getting, I think you'll se more of this type of thing.
our ascillating knife can be used to rubber gastket.
