    CAM software

    Can anyone recommend a low cost CAM package ( under $300) that works well with mill and lathe. I have got by with LazyCam up to now, but it is long winded to use, I am talking model engineering level not production engineering.

    I think it's a little higher than $300 (but maybe not given all the sales lately), but I would recommend you look in to BobCAD-CAM.
