I'm in the market for a Hypertherm Powermax 1000 w/machine torch to use with my Torchmate table, and have been doing a 'net search to try and find the lowest price.

The best I have been able to do so far is Hypermax at $2545 w/free ship, they also seem to have the best prices on consumables. A close second is Harris Welding Supplies at $2550 (also w/free ship).

On an item this expensive, I'm always looking to get the best deal I can. I'm planning to contact Torchmate to give them an opportunity to quote it, but I'm not expecting them to even be able to match the above.

Is there anywhere else I should be looking which might have an even better price?

The one from Harris comes with the interface cable (75$) and the one from hypermax does not. Try SGweldstore one E-bay, I have heard good things about them.

I found my best price on eBay and got my unit the next day. No problems at all.
