Can Mach2 control my phase inverter

My router is way too noisy for my liking, (probably my neighbours too).
I have a 3 phase motor, (nice and quiet) + VF phase inverter, and was wondering if I could control it from Mach2. I know it'll work Ok on it's own, and I can control the variable frequency manually on the inverter, but it'd be nice if mach2 can control the motor speed via the remote connection of the inverter.

The inverter is made by Eurotherm. 601 series (I think).

Anyone have any expirience of this type of setup.

If you buy the spindle speed control board from http://www.campbelldesigns.com , it will convert Mach 2 step and direction speed control to voltage to drive your VFD, so yes it can, but it will cost a little extra. Go to the website and read the .pdf. It has the info you need there. I think I saw $75.00, btw

After quickly browsing throught the .pdf, you may also need the Campbell breakout board as well.

Thanks for the useful info. I'll set it up for manual control for now and see how it goes. When Christmas is out of the way and I have some spare cash, I'll be looking at buying the parts you pointed out.
