I'd like to see if I could do better on this one by roughing out on a laser or water machine first, then I will just run a single clean up pass if needed and chamfer edges on the mill.
I have attached a DXF of the outline I'd like roughed out. There is only 6 pieces, the sustomer is open to material options, it is basically a go-no-go gauge. And actually aluminum will be satisfactory. I'd like to consider 1/8 aluminum and also a stainless. If the aluminum laser capacity is an issue I will consider thinner. The DXF is the net shape, so if I need to clean up walls, plan on leaving ~.010 or so.
I don't have dims on the dxf but to get the scale, it is 3.875 wide by 3.5 tall.
Thanks all
Scott
