    Gigantic stepper motors!

    A user on a Swedish electronics forum that I frequent posted these images of a stepper motor (he's got two of them).

    They were supposedly used by the military (who else?) to move radar discs used for satellite tracking, or something like that.

    3500 oz-in!!!

    The guy who owns them wrote they were 2.3 V / 18 A per winding, but I don't know where he got that from. Perhaps he was too much in a hurry when writing?

    As far as I can see, the plate says 2.23 V, 38 A
