    stepper step rate

    how many step/sec considered as slow, medium, and fast step rate?

    Typically we don't use steps/sec for anything. The number of steps/in or steps/mm is a constant value that needs to be calculated. For actual speeds we use either inch/min or mm/min.

    I would consider 2 revolutions per second slow, 10 revolutions per second medium and 50 revolutions per second as fast.

    xinzc28, Keep in mind that stepper motors have more power when they are running slower. As the step rate rises, the power will drop to the point the motor will stall.
