    Mazatrol t plus ?

I need to be able to program the machining of the inside profile of this 8" dia. Brake wheel for an over head crane. These wheels are cast but just need to be cleaned up on the inside to make balancing easier.

WE have tried using "copy face" with a grooving tool mounted in a special homemade tool holder that holds the tool parrallel to the z-axis. The problem with this is that it starts cutting at the rim of the brakewheel and follows the profile but cuts air from the hub out to z zero. We would like it to start at the hub and follow the contour out to the rim. Does anyone know how to program this and a possibly have a better tool recommendation? Attached is a dxf file of a cut away view of the brakewheel.

    Thanks for any help.

Bar Face should work as well........ define stock boundery then it won't cut air.
The best way to learn is trial error.
