Hitachi Seiki HiCELL opinions, may buy one

I realize they are out of business so would like to find out how solid they are and they are worth owning. WE are looking at a B65 HiCELL with sub spindle, live tool, and Y axis. Curious if anyone has one and what they think. Also, any guesses what something like this is worth? I have no idea given the junk market, how the values are.

    it's 50/50

we have a hicell 23 II. it is nicknamed El,Diablo!
When it is working it is verry productive, and it makes some sexy parts, but when it's not working it is a real pain in the ass.
mainly because nobody knows anything about them.
So basicly...when its good it's good and when it's bad its bad,
i will tell you this, if you do get one and you have problems with it your best bet is to go straight to empire cnc.. ask for Tosh. he helped develop the software. good luck
