    Software required

    Been reading like mad man on here. Trying to figure somethings out. Let me give you some Background. I been guitar making for quite sometime. But I have been using a copier I built a longtime ago. Making the switch to CNC. Iam looking to find what software I need to get this going.

    I know Iam looking at Mach3 , But what else I need? Ill be making Guitar bodies and necks with pocketing. Any help appreciated.This maybe in the wrong place, sorry if it is.

    You'll probably want a 3D CAD or modelling program and a CAM program to create g-code from your models. And if you don't have anyt 3D CAD experience, plan on spending a lot of time learning them.
