Hey,

I'm in the process of planning out my limit switches. I think the best locations require holes to be drilled and tapped into both the casting and into the backside of the table.

It's an X3 and haven't drilled or tapped in either place yet and just want to make sure that everything will go as planned. If I've got a steady hand, will I be all right drilling with a hand drill?

You will be fine, a drill stop and a automatic center punch will help alot.

If your using microswitches, buy new ones unless you're good at desoldering. I sound up buying one of those "third hand" thingies to help hold mine while trying to desolder the mess of wires on the used switches I got for cheap. I'm very close to throwing them all in the trash and making a trip to Radio Shack. Arrgh!
