Possible solutions for #9 error besides spindle drive

Old error #9 sure has surfaced alot on one of our little 3016's lately. It has a rebuilt spindle motor and new encoder. The Inverter doesnt show an error. It says line fault...does this mean we are bleeding through a circuit? It doesnt happen all the time and is intermittant.
We have had good luck with our Fadals milling mostly soft steel and aluminum up to 5 axis. We are always looking for spare parts If you have a broken down Fadal give a shout.

We had an exact problem that we were trying to figure out and it seemed that it mainly happened when we manually decreased the spindle speed via the Spindle Override.

It turned out that one of the fuses was bad in the main power box. Doesn't it usually turn out to be the simple things? LOL

Check the main breaker box fuses.

Had a spindle line fault a while back with no actual fault on the drive. Turned out to be the hall effect sensor that monitors spindle speed had backed off a bit, readjusted the sensor and its been fine since.
