    Linear guide replacement for 15xt

Anybody done this before? The X axis appears to be whipped. We had some plugged lube lines and it appears the linear guides are shot....lots of noise and the table jumps under medium cuts. The ballscrew seems fine with only .0003" -.0004" backlash. Ideas on cost and procedure?

Unhappy I have no help other than...

I think I recall the way set from Fadal is around 1800 bucks. I believe you may be able to buy from FadalCNC ( I think that is the name) or one of the other Fadal part houses cheaper.
I have a small rust spot on my 15XT that so far is not a problem, but may grow into one someday, so I'm interested in what you come up with.
