Does anyone have experience with high speed air spindles like this one?

How do air spindles compare to a standard high speed spindle?
Thank you,

Of course, this is a tool for light cutting, and not very hard materials, then, you can't compare with standar high speed machining.
you can machine hard materials with those. just take a real real light stepdown. those types of things dont normally take a cutter bigger than .25 inch. anything bigger than 3/16 really has no place in one anyway. they are not designed for that kind of load.
also, how does this not compare with highspeed machining? that is what these are all about. the point is you dont have to feed a .030 cutter ungodly slow becaue your machine doesnt have the spindle speed for it.
but to answer the question, these spindles are great. im not sure of that exact model, but youll be surprised by how fast you can feed small rib cutters and such while the spindle is in the range of tens of thousands of rpm
We have VF3's with 15k spindles that's still not fast enough for small cutters. And use a 60k (www.airturbinetools.com) one for 1mm cutters in P20 tool steel using 0.05mm depth of cut.
