Poly/Plastic molds.. how are these made?

Hello, I'm hoping someone can tell me how a certain type of mold is made. These molds are becoming more common and are starting to show up more for concrete casting. Id like for someone tell me how these molds are made??? I don't want to get in the business of making this type of mold for retail, I want to make this mold for my own small projects.

please any help would be greatly appreciated, especially links to this type of machine /polyplastic sheet source.. It seems like it would be some type of vaccume table but I"m not sure how the poly/plastic forms overtop of the casting. ANyone?

    Mold construction

Thesse molds are vaccum formed or thermoformed. The material most commonly used for this type of product is high density polyethylene. Other thermoplastics can be used but with a shorter life span.
