    cnc controller blown pcb trace

Everything was running fine. Left for a few minutes and when I came back nothing was moving. I noticed one of the wires coming in from the power supply was loose so I fixed it but still didn't work. I took it apart and the pcb trace right near the power supply input connector was blown. I fixed it with some conductive epoxy, hooked it back up with the power supply unplugged and it did the same thing, complete with sparks & fireworks . Anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this? Thanks.

It's a 3 axis cnc controller (not sure of the brand). It has a separate power supply that powers the gecko drivers and plugs into the control box. I'm getting a reading of about 32V from the power supply, doesn't matter if it's plugged in or not or turned on or off. thanks.

Here's a pic after I repaired it with the conductive epoxy and hooked it back up.
