Question old DC PM servo motor driver

    Hello!

In the attachment i scan a shematic of on old DC PM servo motor driver ( 1970 )
. I would like to know how can i replace this old driver and drive a motor with PWM servo driver.

    I test motor connecting wires 5133 / 5139 ( + VDC 16 ) and 5134 / 5138 ( GND ) and it is rotating.
    I don't know few things :

Is 220V (vorschubmotor) DC or AC voltage?

If it is 220VDC do i have to made PWM driver for this voltage?
Or i need to made PWM driver for voltage 110VDC ?

You may have a problem with obtaining a PWM servo control with wound field option on it, as according to the drawing it shows a wound field motor.
The look like it is one of the older 3 phase SCR Siemens drives or similar.
With the advent of PM servo's, wound field has virtually disappeared for this application.
If in fact it is W.F., You can get Current SCR 240vac 1 phase drives by Baldor and KB etc that cater to wound field motors with tach feedback. But you may not get really good servo performance with these drives.
It appears to be around 3hp, you can get PWM drives for P.M. motors from AMC and Copley controls, depending on what type of control you intend, i.e. +-10vdc analogue, or step/dir.
It is difficult to read the armature voltage, but the maximum rpm for a motor of this type is around 2000rpm max, so if you apply a voltage to the armature and it rotates, then most likely it is in fact PM, measure the rpm for a given voltage and extrapolate the voltage for 2000rpm

    Armature voltage is 220V
    Max RPM is 1750.

How much cost Baldore driver with wound wire?
Can you give a link to this driver.

Did you confirm it is wound field?
For the SCR drives just Google Baldor motors or KB Electronics, go to DC drives.
You can obtain these in chassis form, without the enclosure and potentiometer etc which makes the cost cheaper.
If it is P.M. field and want to use it as a servo, I would suggest obtaining a servo drive such as A-M-C or Copley Controls.
If you have access to Ebay, I would also look there.
