I have same problem with 2 of our 3 milling machines so now we almost stop production. Our machines are SNK HF3 using FANUC system 9.
The problem is loading never finish although it's displaying LOAD SYS : END. Usually after that, Position Display coming and the machine can work.
I don't know why is this happen? Anyone can help about this problem?

did you solve your problem ?,becouse i have the same exotic controler on one of my machines,it startet with the same problem :devious: and finaly the controler died comletly(i cant start it at all,and the power unit is ok), no LED is on,did you hawe a same experience too ?
I got th system manuals if you need some !

WARNING to Fanuc system 9 owners: your Bubble Memory board in slot1 has the system software on it. If the board fails or has its content corrupted, you will have to reload the software using the tape reader. If you cannot do that, you are in DEEP trouble.
This problem could be in the Bubble Memory board that has the system software on it. See the above warning.

I should erase the memory first and than reload that,did i get that right ?
Is it posible to do that through the RS 232 port?
I think that i have seen the procedure in the maintanance manual......
If i erase the memory,will i be able to see the main screen?

The last thing to do, only if you know that there is nothing else to do, is clearing memory. If the control still boots up, even if not always, get a new memory board and load that. Do you have all the system tapes and an operational tape reader?

I suspected that i will get this answer,the answer is "NO i dont have the tapes" at all,i have been serching for them the vhole day,bud aunfortunaly with no sucess.
But i gotone idea,and my question is: is it posible to send the data with a DNC conection(becouse i got one on this machine) through the RS 232 , becouse the tape reader send the read to the RS port to the machine , right ?
I found maybe one company who has the same machine(in Japan),and if thay read out their data and send it to me would it be possible to send it to the machine ?
I made something like that on more Siemens controlers, but for the fanuc 9 i dont have any experiences jet .
Is there any posibility to load the system sofweare without the tape ?

You cannot save the system data from the bubble.
It maybe possible but difficult to load the system data via DNC.
A better solution is to have a new tape made from files.
We made a memory board specifically for this control that allows copying of the bubble data by plugging the old board into our board; we don't guarantee success, but I have personally done it.

No, that has to be done on your control.

can you give me one more tip memoryman, is it possible to input the data manualy without the tape data from the parameter list,becouse i have found some old parameter lists so i would try it out.???

You can input certain (working) parameters manually; I don't know if all can be done that way, but system tapes have to be done by tape/(dnc?).
Loading the system tapes will clear appropriate areas of the memory.

What is the exact machine model? What options does it have?

the exact model is: NC Copying milling HAMAI 6VA-DT , we dont use the copying options on the machine,we use it as a normal NC machine,the machine has no tool changer,it is a pritty simple machine.....

I don't know anything about that machine, don't know anybody who has one.
You MUST get the correct tapes so that you can be sure that loading works.
