Well we checked out the ESPRIT Mold at IMTS where one of the guys was showing a turbine blade demo. Haven't machined a turbine, but since the show got a 30 day trial of the 5 axis and it arrived last week.

For some reason had to install it with a separate key, instead of a new password, but whatever. I ran some stuff Monday and Tues. The 5 axis is actually pretty easy and seems powerful. I am not sure what kind of pocket you're inquriring about but one of the things we discussed at the show was they integrated ESPRIT Mold functions into ESPRIT, so the existing stuff must be limited like basic functions in a Mastercam or something like that. So far so good...

I don't have ESPIRIT but I am learning Delcam PowerMill and GibbsCAm, both are very easy and powerful softwares for 5-axis..
