    This thread is most tedious.

    Mistakes made. efforts to resolve?

    I hear both sides.

"What we have here is a failure to Communicate".

The drives are repaired? Move on!

Tedious beyond belief, CalG. I just took care of it. First time someone has made our "Do not sell to" list in public. Very exclusive, 6th entry in over 10 years.

It appears to be an easy list to get on.

Step 1. Buy a set of drives, follow the instructions and blow them up.
Step 2. Find it impossible to get an email reply or an answer on who will pay for shipping and have to get the drives fixed yourself.

If gecko had replied with: "Oh yeah sorry, we had a bad diagram, we'll pay to get your drives shipped back here and fixed or replaced."
Then they would have had a fan forever.

    Instead they give the.
"you downloaded the wrong diagram, your fault, we'll refund the drives so we never have to deal with you again".
