    simple stuff

    I'm trying to cut a 24 inch spherical radius on the end of a 2.750 diameter shaft. I'm using a t plus control. I have in the past drawn out these kind of things in mastercam and plugged in the required values to avoid the frustration that I always run into. When I try to do a radius I enter x=0 for my center of arc x and z=24 for z arc center. I put in 2.75 for my final x and the ?intersect for the final z, x0 and z0 for my starting points. I've tried rearranging these values but to no use. It always tells me DATA MISSING. This is truly frustrating please help.

    Mazatrol

    Bar Out (General Out)
    Convex Arc
    Starting Point X = 0.
    Starting Point Z = 0.

    Finishing Point X = 2.75
    Finishing Point Z = 0.039 (-0.039)

    Radius = 24.

    Be sure and check the graphics to see if this works. I haven't tested it.

    You should be able to just run a finish routine to avoid roughing witness marks.
