    Thread milling

    I have a sqt250m lathe. I was wanting to know if I could thread mill on it and if so how to go about doing it. I have a 27npt pipe thread mill.

    thread milling

    More likely than not you will need to program with a manual milling program, jsut like gcode except you don't need to turn cutter comp off at the end of the unit. when you go back to straight mazatrol it will do that for you. used the same cycle frequently for just straight helical milling. if you need sample code I can probably dig some up for you.
