power supply required for 4 axis system

    hi,

I am willing to go for a gecko G201 4 axis system (X axis with 2 steppers).

I would like your advise on 3 things:
    1 - can I use 2 power supplies (one for 2 motors)
2 - if I use only one supply which capacity it shall have knowing that I want to achieve high torque at high speed because my machine gantry is heavy (30-40kg). I beleive I will use steppers parallel connected.
3- Am I missing something to run the system?

here are the details of what I may intent to use:
    - steppers:
    860 oz. in.motor for Z axis
    then for X and Y, 3 steppers: No. of wires=4, Bipolar Volts= 3.0, Amps=6.0, Ohms=0.5, Holding torque=8.5Nm. 0r 1200 oz-in

    - breackout board:
    CNC4PC C1G parallel port interface

    - 4pcs G201 drives

    - Power supply:
    big question...

    see my questions above...

if you'd like to see my machine (currently running on Xylotex):

thanking you in advance for your advises.

About 16-20 amps, and for voltage, use 32 x sq rt of the motors inductance.
