    Relay for HobbyCNC board

    Hi...

I run a K2CNC machine driven by the HobbyCNC controller and steppers. All is well...

I would like to add a Relay to the Port Cable Spindle so I can automatically turn it on and off with jobs... and I'm looking for suggestions on "how".

    1. Which Relay would guys recommend.
    2. How is the Relay wired to the router in laymans terms?
    3. How is the Relay wired to the HobbyCNC in laymans terms?

One crazy question I have is... does the power for the Router come through the Relay now? Or does the Router still plug into the "wall outlet" and the relay is wired into the Router somehow... sorry for the stupid question.

I'm confident I can figure out the settings through Mach... but the electrical side I'm always a little miffed by.

    Rich.
