Wanted: Pictures of WinCnc controller cabinet layouts

I am starting to retrofit a small milling machine with the WinCnc controller.

I would like to see pictures of anyone's controller cabinet using WinCnc to get some ideas for layout and wiring. Anyone using a breakout board with WinCNC?
Anyone have a preference for connectors, limit switches, sensors, etc.?

So post away with your pictures and comments. If possible post inside this forum rather than a outside forum link. This would make it easier for others to reference this in the years to come.

No cabinet for me, I've just got everything bolted up under my bench to keep it out of the chips. It ain't pretty but it works.

Electrical panel boxes work well, come in many sizes and are cheap.

Thanks for posting your setup.

Something to be said for having a machine up and running and making chips.

Did you ever setup your home/limit board?

Not the separate board. I tried the switches after setting up the main board and their dead on. I didn't think I needed them and from what I remember, it was going to be a chore to get Wincnc and that board to work.

I just added a proximity on A and it's nice, change fixtures, hit a button, it rotates for alignment and I start the program.

hope this helps, i have two camasters with wincnc and have retrofited one of the boxes here. the new wincnc board is also shown (red) and is worth the money, winford.com also has 37pin breakout boards at a reasonable cost

Thanks for the great pictures. It's exactly what I was looking for.
I noticed that a firm on Ebay is selling MICRO SWITCH-HONEYWELL P/N: 103SR17A-1
BiPolar Hall-Effect digital position sensors for $5.00 each with a buy it now. Item number is 270166866249
Any idea if this would work for the WinCNC breakout board? Firm seems to have a large supply. List price is over $42.00 each
It's sometimes hard to find a deal on groups of 10 or more of the same item with a great discount thrown in.
