    encoder-stepper motor

    My cnc machine works for long times and I want to be informed
    if it loses some steps. So i want to put encoders.
    The question is:

    I would like to know if the characteristics of this encoder (300
    impulse/circle, electronic 50 Khz ), are enough to put in a stepper
    motor with 400 half steps per revolution,1.8step angle.

    What software are you using? Not many can even use encoders.

    The question it’s if the accuracy of this encoder it’s enough for de step motor
