    lineir rail help

    can anyone tell me if these are any good for light aluminum work as thay are much cheaper, sorry if this has bin gone over before i don't know how to searh forums:withstupi

    Depends on what they are mounted to. People have cut aluminum with mdf and skate bearing machines. If all you plan on cutting is aluminum, you'd probably be better off with THK type rails. But again, the rest of the machine is just as important.

    it's a jgro slowly being converted to all aluminum will these work for the y-axis (gantery) http://cgi.ebay.com/2-ABBA-Linear-Be...3A1%7C294%3A50 i'm looking to work with any thing but reel hard stuf but do not want to buy a mill.
