Having been an ASM specialist for years (long time ago) I still get requests every now and then to design a set of cams for B&S, INDEX and swiss machines. Once and a while I get a request for an old ACME Multi-spindle.
So, yeah, they are still around and profitable in the right applications.

You guys have a market for these?
I have been running approx. 5 ACME-Gridley machines to the scrap yard every year.

We have 8 acmes on the floor. I average have 1 running out of the 8 every week. They are still good machines and very productive for the right jobs.
I am having to slowly move them out to make room for cnc equipment for the majority of the job we run. BL
