    Slow axis speed

    Hi
I have recently built a 5ft square 3 axis CNC router, incorporating a gantry, stepper motors, EMC, and trapezoidal lead screws. All works reasonably well except the fastest speed I can reach on the x and y axis is 15mm per second. This seems a little slow. Can anyone tell me what kind of speeds similar sixed machine run at.
    Thanks
    Aaron

You're going to have to provide some info on about your machine. Motors, power supply, weight, screw lead.....
