    Linistepper troubleshooting

    Hi all,

I've constructed a linistepper board (posix style), but can't get the motor running. I'm providing the input with a 555 tester circuit.

I get ~10.3V between GND and all motor outputs, and maybe 0.5 in between the common and the coils. I've tested the 555 circuit and it provides the signal ok. I've replaced the TIP122s already, still the same. Any ideas?

    Thanks ahead,
    Peter

Start in the middle, check for valid signals, move in the direction of the invalid signals.

Thanks James, I've ended up trashing the circuit and building a new one. This one works fine.

Glad you got something going... I guess sometimes chucking it all and starting over is best!
