A860-0346-T141. particularly. Lots of failures...Shaft Bearing is almost always bad. Bearing can be changed. But prone to 350 alarms?????? I replace the unit. Fanuc does not repair them. $1100.00 throw away

Alligning that unit is not easy, you'll need as minimum an oscilloscope with the capability to freeze the image of the signal to allign them, they must be 90º one from the other (A,B) there are also more sophisticated equipment like the Heidenhain to do this but it costs about 10k. We have been repairing them at our lab. 50-50 success, try contact tenesee industrial electronics, maybe they can repair it in USA.
