    Roughing Passes Exceeding Finishing Passes

I'm running MC 9 for lathe. I have a bore like so.....

    _____________
    __________/

I'm predrilling to the small bore size then roughing out with a small boring bar. I'm getting small leftover rings from the rough out on the angled area. I'm not showing any gouging on the verifies, but the feature does show up in the finished process. There is a taper for a NPT ahead of the above geometry. I tried leaving Z in the rough out sequence but nothing helped. If I Z minus in the finish pass .010 the it takes out the bumps. (Of couse that's .010 past where I want to go. Whaz up?

    2 things,

Is the "lead out" angle set correctly ?
    and
Are you allowing the roughing pass to crossover the last pass before doing the lead-out ?
