Actually, it may be Format>Text Style.

I actually do that already. Is there a way to permanently reset it without changing it with format every time I make a new drawing ? Know what I mean Ger21. I'd like to start out with the font of my choice instead of some ugly techno stick font.
Set up everything you want, then save it as a template. Then start every drawing with that template.
I use two templates, one for actual drawings, and one for machining .dxf files. The templates can have your layers set up, lineweights, dimension styles. Just about anything.
Spend 30 minutes setting up everything exactly how you want it and you'll never have to do it again. I've been using the same templates for close to 8 years, maybe more. Through several versions of AutoCAD.

Thank you ger21. I must truly be brain dead. I knew that(chair) doh!!
I was having the same problem of setting a font then losing it everytime I started a new drawing.
I just couldn't remember how to fix it.
Many thanks!
