    bitmap to vectors

Is there a cheap way to convert pixels into vectors? I have pdf files and want to make dxf out of them so as to import the files into Partmaster. I've had the prograam for several years but haven't been able to make anything from the program. I always end up doing the math and programming the old fashioned way.

I'm sure there is but not sure where exactly to find it. I could have used such a tool about 6 months ago. I would imagine with enough searching, something could be found.

    Dolphin,
Have you noticed my request in this thread and the answer from Harley4ever? Would you happen to know of such a program and if so what the name is?
    Thanks,
    Jim

    Harley,
Yeh!...I'd have a lot more time to drive it if I ever get the hang of the PartMaster program. I don't have any real trouble making a file with the math portion of the program it's the process of copying a drawing and then being able to cut it in Proto Trak. As soon as cherry season is over I've had an offer for some help by doing a remote session. Hopefully this will make some sense ot the whole thing.

does the Harley stand for HD? If so what do you have? I have a '91 Heirtage and a '98 Ultra Classic which is a custom built from LA way.

Its actually quite easy. Are you having trouble loading the file into Prot trak? I'm not familiar with proto trak so much but can try and rule out a few basics.
