Retrieving TNC 145 via serial connection

I am trying to get the machine parameters of my Bridgeport series 2 interact 2, but i am unable to open the parameter window on CRT. Is there any one who can tell me the standard procedure to get the parameters of TNC 145. and how can i save these parameters on my PC.

I have gone through the manual of TNC 145 but it only has info of loading parameters from a cassette to the controller not for the opposite case.

    Regards,
    A.A

Download the manual for tnc145 and the communication software from the heidenhain website. You'll have to build the cable for serial communication using the pinouts in the manual.

ENTER loads parameters from a PC.
NO ENTER sends them to the PC.
Catch 22, RS232 has to be set up correctly.
